We believe everyone has a voice. Build confidence, strengthen communication skills and develop a sense of community, all while having fun! These in-person acting classes are for young people. The class size will be limited to nine students for safety and social distancing. Scroll below for more detail on our COVID-19 safety measures and our class listings.

*Please note: Safety is our top priority. If safety regulations and recommendations change, these classes could be moved online at any time. We will communicate any changes to class format.


Winter Classes

Wizarding School

Thursdays, Jan. 21 – March 11, 4-5 p.m.

Third through Sixth Grades | Cost: $155

Calling all wizards and witches! In this class, your daily lessons are the potions, spells and tricks that make up the magic of acting. Use your voice, body and imagination to cast a spell over audiences through improvisation and introductory acting techniques.


The Art of Musical Theatre: Contemporary Musicals

Mondays, Jan. 25 – March 15, 4-5:30 p.m.

Fifth through Eighth Grades | Cost: $175

Learn introductory dance and vocal techniques that add polish and pizazz to the catchy songs from Matilda, Hamilton and Catch Me If You Can that you just can’t get out of your head.

*As a safety precaution, Week 3 and Week 6 will be held over Zoom instead of at the Playhouse since students will be singing.


COVID-19 Health & Safety Comes First

  • In-person class sizes are limited to nine.
  • Students and teachers will wear face masks at all times.
  • Classes will be taught with strict social distancing measures.
  • All class spaces and high-touch areas are thoroughly cleaned and procedures utilize CDC-approved disinfecting solutions.
  • Parents should drop students off at the main entrance and pick students up in the parking lot following class.
  • Parents may not wait inside the building during classes.
  • Health checks will be conducted before students can enter the building.
  • Students should not attend if they aren’t feeling well or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Zoom links will be provided so students can still participate from home if necessary.


Our classes for children ages 3 and 4 focus on social and artistic development through improvisation, theatre games and a visual art component. We teach students how to band together as an ensemble and use their voices, bodies and imaginations to create complex tales and characters.

Kindergarten Through Second Grade

Our classes for young performers in kindergarten through second grade focus on social and artistic development through creative dramatics, improvisation and theatre games. We teach students how to band together as an ensemble and use their voices, bodies and imaginations to create complex tales and characters.

Third Through Eighth Grades

Our classes for young performers in third through eighth grades focus on developing the craft and technique of acting, as well as specialty subjects including voice, movement, improvisation, stage combat and makeup through fun exploration and ensemble building. We value process over product as young actors develop their skills and confidence.
