What should I know about Outreach Plays?

Each show runs approximately 45 to 60 minutes. We provide resources to help prepare your students for the show and to connect the experience to your curriculum, including copies of the play script. All touring plays address grade-level appropriate, state academic standards in English, language arts, fine arts, health and wellness, and arts and humanities.

When will The Wind in the Willows be available?

The show runs from Oct. 5 to Nov. 6. After purchasing, you will be asked to select one week during the run of the show when you would like to watch the performance. The Monday of the week you select, you will receive a link for you and your students to watch the production. You will have five days to watch the performance after receiving the link, as it will expire at the end of the day on Friday.

Will my students be able to watch from home?

Closer to the production, we will send you an email with instructions. You will be able to watch as a class, or share access with your students so that they can watch from their computers if they are learning remotely. When purchasing, please be sure to give us an accurate number of students you believe will watch the show, because the links are restricted to a certain number of uses.

How much does the production cost?

Pricing for the production starts at $500 and varies based on number of students. Purchase access to the production here. For bundled pricing with our virtual workshops, visit our Education Memberships page.

Who can I contact with questions?

You can reach out to Education Coordinator Valerie Perez at with any questions about purchasing and accessing virtual content.

Looking Ahead: In-Person Performance Requirements

• Price: Through generous grants, we are able to offer these productions for $500. We have a limited number of subsidies for Title 1 schools.

• Performance Space: Our touring productions can perform in almost any large space, from auditoriums and gymnasiums to cafeterias. We require a minimum space of 20 feet wide by 20 feet deep to set up our production (including backstage space) and minimum ceiling height of 9 feet. Please allow one hour of set-up time and one hour of breakdown time in the space.

• Audience Size: Because of the informal nature of most school performance spaces and the intimacy of live theatre, we prefer to have audiences no greater than 350 students. A second performance will be required if desired attendees exceed 350 students.

We are happy to discuss any of these requirements. Please contact us at
